Note To take any of our courses, you will only need an Internet connection and a microphone.

This format will give you the opportunity to practice your English by speaking with a teacher for 9 months, one hour per week. In total, you will have 36 lessons to improve your English.

Description

The online general english course is aimed at all those who want to learn and/or improve their english communication skills and wish to do so comfortably remotely, either via computers, tablets, or mobile phones. We offer courses from beginner level (A1) to the most advanced level (C2), in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Each level is subdivided into three modules.

The Cambridge Institute offers 6 Levels:

  • A1 Starter
  • A2 Elementary
  • B1 Intermediate
  • B2 Upper intermediate
  • C1 Advanced
  • C2 Proficiency

Material

The online platform allows students to access the content they will cover in class from any device: computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc., making it easier for them to access all their training from anywhere. It will be accessible 24/7 with no time limit on the platform. The only thing to keep in mind is that the access will close 9 months after starting the course. Access is individual for the student, at their own pace.

Course content

Throughout the course, the five language skills are covered: speaking, writing, listening, language use, and reading. The units in each course offer different topics, the complexity of which increases depending on the student's level of English.

The platform features original texts and audio clips, specifically created by the Cambridge Institute teaching team to facilitate student learning. In addition, each course offers different types of exercises: questions with alternative answers are automatically marked by the system, and students can immediately check the correct answers. Open-ended questions, such as Speaking and Writing, are marked individually by your tutor within 24 hours.
